Shipping and Returns

We ship rugs via UPS or Fed Ex Ground free of charge within the contiguous United States.

Please note:  Rugs larger than 8 x10  will require a different shipper. Once your order is placed, we will let you know the shipper and the estimated delivery time. If an oversize rug is returned a $75 shipping fee will be assessed and taken off the refund.

We will provide you with a tracking number to monitor your shipment.

Sorry, we can not ship to PO Boxes or APO boxes. 

Most rugs will arrive in about 10-14 days. Again, large rugs may take longer because of necessary alternate shipping.

If your rug arrives damaged, do not accept it, take a photo of the damage, and immediately email it to us at: info@rubiconrugs.com Please do not call and leave a phone message.  

Return shipping is to be paid for by customer. 

 

When your rug arrives...

Immediately Inspect for shipping damage. If there is damage, refuse the shipment, document with a mobile phone photo and email us immediately at info@rubiconrugs.com

Attention: Please exercise patience and caution when opening your rug. Rugs damaged by improper opening are not returnable but may be fixable. Let us know and we can offer suggestions.

Please note: rugs are tightly rolled and vacuum packed. It may take up to 72 hours for the rug to relax and lie flat. If it still is driving you nuts, let us know and we can offer suggestions to facilitate the process.

 

Returning Your Rug

Return shipping is to be paid by the customer.

 

If an oversize rug is returned a $75 shipping fee will be assessed and taken off the refund.

Rugs may be returned if we are notified within 14 days of arrival of your parcel via email prior to the end of the 14 day return period. Phone messages are not accepted. 

After we receive you email, we will provide you with a RAN (Return Authorization Number). Return must be shipped within 14 days of receiving a RAN.

Once the rug has arrived and been inspected and determined to be in new condition, a refund will be issued. If an oversize rug is returned a $75 shipping fee will be assessed and taken off the refund.

If a rug is returned and damaged from improper packaging, returned dirty, or damaged, customer may be charged for cleaning of rug at $4.25 ft², subject to denial of refund, or a restocking fee.

Recommended Shippers: UPS, FedEx or USPS

Charitable Donation

When your rug purchased is finalized, we will make a 10% of the sale donation to one of the selected charities . After receiving the donation, the charity will send you a thank you acknowledgement.

If you plan on keeping your rug, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make the charitable donation in your name. We will automatically make the donation to the charity if we have not been notified within the 14-day return period. Acknowledgement of your donation can only be made by email. If after 3 weeks of original purchase, you have not received an email acknowledgement, do not contact the charity, call or email us. It's our responsibility to complete the donation process on your behalf. If you make a donation above and beyond your purchase donation, please let us know as well.

If you would like to opt out of listing your name on the donation list for the selected charity, please let us know and we will be happy to comply. We reserve the right to eliminate any name from the donation list for any reason at any time.
